    Probably the accountancy graduate.

They would probably get exemptions from ACCA F1 - F9, and therefore only need to do 4 - 5 exams in order to become chartered.

The AAT level 4 would only get exemptions from ACCA F1 - F3, and therefore have to do 10 - 11 exams in order to become chartered.

Despite this I reckon the AAT level 4 dude would have better practical skills as the AAT is very practical.

However at the end of the day the graduate would be 'part qualified' and therefore very attractive to employers because employers would have to pay less for study, given less study leave, and have someone who is going to be 'qualified' in 1 - 2 years.

If the AAT candidate qualified via an apprenticeship they would be more attractive to employers as well.

    This is true.

Experience is very valued by employer's compared to a graduate that has no practical experience.
