Any volunteer position in Leeds?

It's been really hard getting accounting firms to reply to my emails for work experience. I am on the level 2 course and need to change my career as soon as possible. My job applications have not been successful, so far, as I don't have any accounting relevant experience.
Any advice/recommendation is appreciated.

Dear Eimmontalo,

Try contacting charities and seeing if their finance department would be able to take you on for work experience - even doing basic tasks will give you experience and a reference for your CV. Apprenticeship could be another choice.

Thanks Norvydas, I don't think I can afford to be an apprentice due to family responsibilities. I work in education so I can only volunteer during school holidays.
I will try charities.

Have you approched Recruitment agencies? I saw on Linkdin last week Robert Half were advertising a position for AAT Level 2 studiers, apparently very rare position which comes with full study support and all other perks.
They are based in Leeds.
