Bishopsgate Financial are a change management consultancy company based in the City of London with a diverse community of change leaders, constantly adapting to lead positive change within the banking sector. We are looking for a motivated accounts assistant to join our growing consulting firm and work alongside our Finance Manager. The role will consist of various tasks to help run the finance department.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring consultant’s timesheets are entered promptly
• Chase approval of timesheets from line managers and assist in any queries the client may have
• Processing the consultant invoices (includes matching to timesheets and entering into our finance system)
• Main point of contact for consultants to assist with invoice and timesheet queries
• Support in raising client invoices on a monthly basis
• Ensure supplier invoices are approved and enter invoices into the finance system
• Reconciliations of finance systems
We have had rapid growth this year and we need some help whilst we are re-modelling our finance function. We are looking for someone to join us for an initial period of 2 months, to follow established processes with the opportunity of a full time job on completion of the 2 months. The role would suit a student currently studying AAT level 3 or 4. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience (although not essential), good IT skills and have excellent attention to detail. Flexible working patterns are available.
