AAT affiliate work experience

I am an affiliate member and would like to gain some work experience in the area of drawing up the financials of business plans for start ups, (BS, P&L, CF) using MS excel, and undertaking the various scenario analysis. I currently do not work in finance, so might have to do this work experience in a voluntary capacity - do any accountancy practices allow me to do this? Or are there any charities helping people to start their own business?
