Just to say anyone who took their Financial Statements exam end of July, some results have been released early (5 weeks). Worth a check :-)

I took this exam at the end of July, personally I thought I've done bad in the exam as I wasn't prepared for some questions that came up at all..However I am quite satisfied with the result that I've received today (Competent). I would say my best tip is to keep practising writing tasks, everyone can learn how to calculate and produce SFP&SPL etc, however putting everything in the report and analysing is a lot more difficult. I always read examiners report before the exam so I can roughly see what task might come up and how long should I spend on each task. Good luck with your exam!

I found it ok actually (got 93%), you need a little luck with written questions, some are bad some are quite straight forward. Please learn all your ratio's though, there easy marks. Best of Luck, you can do it.dumutroba said:I am about to sit this exam, how did you find it?

Hmmh, I am not sure if I am honest to you. I think I've done quite well, but I guess we will find out at the end of September. I found FSLC more difficult than Synoptic, purely because I've done quite well in Management units & I found Accounting systems quite easy as well. Again, I don't want to be too confident before I actually get results!!
