@jk123 No im struggling I just keep trying practice papers to see how they want me to write the answer but this isn't helping me

The only tip i could give is to relate your answer to pre realease material. When talking about budgeting relate the figures to the scenarios given in pre release material i.e. if scenario said there was shortage of materials due to main supplier ceasing trading and in budget given materials have adverse variance then you could say for example; as per budget we can see that direct materials have adverse variance, this could have occurred because main supplier has ceased trading (as per pre release material) due to this we had to find alternative supplier. The alternative suppliers materials were more expensive and not as good quality as our main suppliers, this can explain why our direct material show adverse variance.

Each task needs to be related to pre release material. Each task needs to be written thoroughly and with excellent knowledge of the topic.

The questions wording is difficult to understand, therefore read it until you certain what you are being asked to do.

Thank you very much - when I sat this exam the first time I never related the exam to the pre release material because I weren't sure where to get the correct information from but I will make sure I do this in the exam this time.

Your welcome. First time i did this exam i didn't referred to pre release material and got 65%, second time i referred to pre release material as much as i could do and got competent. Practise as much as u can, try not to rush the questions and think before you start answering them.

Hi @Sineadp atm, I’m not getting anywhere,
I’m just revising the top down approach and bottoms up advantages and disadvantages. I’ve asked my freinds, and they said most of the answers are in the question.
You just need to put figures in and explain it
