Experienced Book keeper/ Accounts Payable Clerk required for luxury fashion company based in Fulham.

London Contour Experts are a product development business in the luxury fashion sector. Based in Fulham, our entrepreneurial team manage a portfolio of international clients from designer lead start-ups to high profile retailers and celebrity collections. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper/accounts payable clerk to support with invoicing, preparing VAT returns, business reporting and data analytics.

To be considered for this new role you will ideally need to be working towards your AAT or be newly qualified, looking to commit to a company for a couple of years to solidify your experience and make the role your own. You will work across departments, problem solving and developing best practices, taking on responsibility for running the back office of the business over time.

Required experience & skills:
- Completed or working towards AAT, a recent graduate with a relevant degree and solid work experience, or someone considered to be qualified by experience.
- Experience with international clients (overseas VAT, multi-currency transactions)
- Bank reconciliation, general ledger, posting journals, invoicing
- Preparation of VAT returns, End Of Year accounts and P&L forecasting an advantage
- Ability to process data with a high level of accuracy, helping to interpret and making recommendations to improve efficiency and manage costs within production
- Strong working knowledge of Excel & Quickbooks essential
- Knowledge of Payroll & HR a bonus
- Ability to thrive within a busy team, demonstrating a professional manner and good time management
- Trustworthy and discrete when dealing with confidential client information
- Strong written communication and fluency in English
- Good administrative skills, maintaining accurate files and customer data
- Ad hoc projects and research
