I would like to know how to calculate NIC at 9%. According to the AAT model answer, the amount is £1,292.94. According to BBP's answer, the amount should be £1,285.74 (page 150 of the Question Bank). Should you include the interest on capital in the calculation (as per AAT) or ignore the interest on capital (as per BPP)?
