Why the low pass rate for Advanced Bookkeeping exam?

Hi

Someone in this forum kindly issued the latest pass rate percentages for all the AAT exams..

The AVBK exam only has a pass rate of 61% which to me sounds quite low, I'm about to start my studies on advanced bookkeping after getting my level 2 synoptic result last week and was wondering why almost 40% of people fail the exam?

Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting - 30 Nov 18
Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting - 16 Oct 19
Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting - 22 Jul 21

    Reading the examiners notes will explain why students are losing marks on each question.
