ES Risks is based in EC3, we are a Lloyd's broker looking for an Accounts Assistant.

Maternity Cover January to December 2019

The main element of the role involves the daily management of the incoming and outgoing insurance monies, ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Communication with our company clients is by email and telephone. A secondary part of the role is recording and paying company expenditure.

Insurance accounting
Systems: In house broking system and online portal

• Daily posting of cash receipts and matching cash against transactions
• Preparation of onward payments, posting cash and matching
• Inter-company bank transfers
• Weekly bank reconciliations
• Set up of new insurance partners on the system
• Sending account statements
• Responding to queries / cancellation notices

Company bookkeeping
System: Quickbooks online

• Posting invoices and staff expenses
• Preparation of expense payments
• Bank account update: matching payments against invoices
• Posting season ticket loan deductions
