An opportunity has arisen to join our busy practice of accountants, assisting our accounts and bookkeeping departments and supporting our administration team.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified, be a friendly, well-spoken and enthusiastic individual who is a good team player and has a positive can-do attitude.

You should be organised, self-motivated and able to use your own initiative.

Planning towards, and meeting deadlines is an essential skill in our profession and working as part of the team to achieve those tasks is therefore a vital part of your work.

This position is on a full time with the possibility of day release at college to gain further qualifications.
Duties will involve:

• Preparation of spreadsheets;
• Use of Computerised Financial Accounts and Bookkeeping software including SAGE and Quickbooks;
• Preparation of Accounts for sole traders and limited companies;
• Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
• VAT and MTD;
• Answering incoming calls and taking messages;

Salary negotiable based on experience, qualifications and hours.
