Hi,

After over 3 years without studying I sat and failed MABU (66%). While im disappointed with my first fail, I am shocked I was so close to passing as I ran out of time and did not answer the two written sections (school boy error!!!).

If I had gained more marks and scrapped 70% could I have passed with some areas significantly below/below requirement or do we need to pass each section?

    You need to have an overall mark of 70% or above to pass. It doesn't matter if some sections are Below Required or some Exceeded. I've passed some exams where I had some sections where it was Below Required but still managed to pass.
