Hi!
This client received a £50 gift voucher for joining an association to be used in a certain shop. He used the voucher to pay for goods and he paid the rest £12.96 by card. Do i have to record the voucher and how do i record it in books.

I believe the correct way to do this would be record the goods at their full value and then record the voucher as a discount received0 -
