AAT vs. ACCA F1-F3

ACCA give 3 exemptions (F1-F3) if you complete AAT. I wonder how the interviewer feel about ACCA F1-F3 passed and AAT qualified. Do they have equal value? Do interviewers prefer AAT qualified more?
I am currently stuck on my last synoptic exam (failed twice), but I am now also studying ACCA and got F1-F4 passed.
For me, AAT qualification = ACCA F1-F3. Since I have already passed ACCA F1-F4, is there any point to complete AAT now?

AAT is considered to be the first step towards becoming an accountant, while ACCA is an advanced qualification for people who already are accountants. AAT is a technical level qualification, while the ACCA qualifications are at the professional level. ... ACCA is a higher qualification than AAT, but if you have got this far with the AAT it would make sense to finish it surely ? I can’t finish my AAT as no one will now accept advanced learner loans for it distance learning so I’ve got 3 parts done and that’s it by looks of it. I would personally finish the AAT if I was you . Well done !!0

That’s what I thought at the beginning. But after failed 2nd time, I now feel frustrated and very tired for synoptic. But I will try to finish it. Hopefully I will get it pass on my 3rd time. Thank you for your advice!!0

You’ve come a long way it would be a shame to not finish it . Just take your time, give yourself a break ( depending when then next synoptic exam is ) and focus on whatever parts stopped you passing and not so much the content you are comfortable with ( what I was told ) good luck !!!0

Yes, I have passed F1, F2, F3 and F4.
Is it not worth to get AAT qualification any more?0 -
Imagine a nurse was struggling with nursing training.
Imagine that nurse started doing a medicine degree to become a doctor and was passing the exams.
What would you advise that nurse to do?
Spend time struggling with nursing and earn a salary of £30k, or concentrate on becoming a doctor as quickly as possible and earn a salary of £40k+.
The answer to your question should be relatively simple and straight forward. However ultimately it Is up to you regarding how you want to live your life.
If you are serious about becoming a good accountant you really have to ensure that you are good at studying the facts, making decisions, and advising clients/businesses. Using your time wisely and being able to make sensible decisions are very important skills that all good accountants need.
Within accountancy the AAT qualification has never been greater than gaining ACCA so your question about "Is it not worth to get AAT qualification any more?" doesn't make any sense.0
