in VAT
Client is contracting to a USA company to provide services, so initially clear cut for VAT. However, I am informed that the the USAs client is in the Netherlands so the physical service is being provided in the Netherlands. Instinct tells me that the client is in the USA and hence that is where the place of supply is, but given the work is to be carried out elsewhere, is that a problem for the USA client, or my client?
Anyone able to answer that one, I'd be very grateful.
