GP
revenue = £20 x 70 lessons = £1400
costs = 450 + 125 = 575
GP = 825
GP margin = 825/1400 = 59%
rev per student = 1400 (revenue) /14 (students) = 100
Capacity = 70 hours worked / out of a possible 100 = 70%
Lessons in the month:
for every 7 hours, she gave 5 lesson (3 x 1 hour, 2 x 2 hour)
in 70 hours, she gave 50 lessons.

Woowww thank you!! I think the only part I manage to get was the GP.
Thanks for your help!0 -
Same as I got
Gross profit: 1400 - 575 = 825
Income (20 x 70 = 1400) LESS direct costs of (450 + 125 = 575)
Gross profit margin: 825 / 1400 x 100 = 59%
This is gross profit / revenue x 100
Monthly revenue per student: £100
1400 / 14 (revenue / number of students taught)
Fuel cost per Kilometre: 450 / 1800 = £0.25
Fuel cost / number kilometres driven
Operating at 70% (70 / 100 x 100)
Number of lessons: 50
10 x 3 x 1hour sessions = 30
10 x 2 x 2 hour sessions = 20
20 + 30 = 500
