AAT Practise Assessments

Hi,

im just about to start this unit and i saw on the att website on the practise assessments it has a test that says FSLC Practice Assessments 1 IFRS16 assessed from September 2019, is this a new style of exam?

    Hi Sophie,

    IDK if it is new style, but it alerts you to the fact that IFRS 16 superseded IAS17. These are accounting standards

    Make sure your syllabus is up to date to reflect the change

    @dumutroba great thanks ICS have provided me with the Kaplan 2018-19 study text does this mean it’s now out of date?

    Have a look at accounting for liabilities Leases, it should name the new standard

    You can always read about IFRS 16 on the Internet, I used a lot of Internet material to familiarise myself with the proper treatment of the accounting elements
