Assistant Finance Business Partner/Technical Accountancy Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our Finance team that supports the Councils’ services in managing their budgets to fund service delivery. The council is pursuing an exciting transformation agenda to better meet the needs, and improve the lives, of our residents, local businesses and visitors: so it is a great time to join the Council. Finance plays a partner role to the service: driving decisions that enable and improve performance.

We are seeking applicants who are AAT qualified (or at the final stages of qualifying) or equivalent. Applicants must be able to work at pace, and use finance systems proficiently. Excellent communication skills must be demonstrated and confidence to liaise with a broad range of non-finance stakeholders. These roles are based in County Hall, Llandrindod Wells however the Council support agile working therefore these roles offer flexible working at home and at local offices.
