Hi Everyone,
I've just finished AAT and now looking to study either CIMA or ACCA.
Both being reputable, I'm only looking for the one I could complete quickly as I'm in my early 30s.
I'm good in calculations but can struggle a bit in written part as English isn't my first language. Furthermore I'm not the fastest keyboard user.
So which of the two is more focus on calculations?
Thanks for your input.

It all depends on how much effort you are willing to put. You can complete both of the qualifications in 1 year if you are willing to take 2-3 exams per each session, or it can take you as long as 10 years..I believe the avereage time scale to complete ACCA and CIMA is 3 years.
In regards of written parts, being able to explain what you calculated is important, therefore I think both ACCA & CIMA will have questions where it will require you to analyse your calculations and offer guidance to clients.

Based on what you said, CIMA would probably be more appropriate.AAT
