Role Purpose
We are currently seeking a junior accounts clerk to join a busy residential client accounts team in Greenwich, London. For this particular position we are looking for Mandarin speakers to hit the ground running and provide an excellent service to our landlords and tenants. The role requires excellent accounting skills, the ability to communicate articulately over the phone and in writing and taking a hands-on approach to client reporting.
What this job involves
• Reconciliation and reporting of new homes deposits
• Assisting with bank and client account reconciliations
• Resolve and responding to colleague, landlord and tenant queries
• Month-end routines, reporting and reconciliations
• Ensure data is entered correctly and accurately in a timely manner
• Ad-hoc reporting to managers and directors.
• Ensure KPI’s are identified and maintained in line with procedure
• Answering the phone, and ensuring our clients receive excellent customer service
Sound like you? To apply you need to be / have:
• Mandarin speaker, Cantonese will be an advantage
• The Ideal candidate will be studying towards AAT level 3 or 4
• A good understanding of Microsoft Excel would be advantageous (V-lookups, Pivot and other functions).
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Proven office experience within a fast-paced working environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible and able to work under pressure, multi task and effectively prioritise.
• Organised and able to work to detail and to deadlines
