sales ledger control account?

Hi everyone, I am doing a question where i have to take entries from the cash book and transfer them to general ledger accounts. The answers were a wages account, rent, stationery and two sales ledger control accounts. There were two customers but i thought the sales ledger control was the total of all the sales ledgers. So why two sales ledger control accounts instead of one? Thanks

    Sure they weren’t subsidiary accounts? Double entry should be in control account and then 2 single entries in sales ledger subsidiary accounts (for each customer)?

    Thanks for the reply I think it was a mistake in the book dm anymore I passed the exam.
