Hello , I was studying AAT L3 during my gap year to finally secure a place in university this September. After revising and booking all exams coronavirus hit and all exams were cancelled .

AAT has not done anything so far to help students with what is happening in the future .

What do you think would be appropriate outcome ? Remote assessments or Awarding qualification based on any modules already completed such as A levels & GCSEs are doing.

What do you think will happen ?

Personally neither of the two options. Remote assessments are not an option for AAT as the CEO as explained in the last update. Awarding qualifications can’t be done because A levels and GSCEs aren’t comparable to a professional diploma and in line with AAT ethics.

Unfortunately you will need just to wait when the lockdown will ease a bit and AAT will resume face-to-face assessments safely for both training centres and students.
