Using older books for some modules

Hi can anyone tell me which units in foundation that I absolutely have to have this years books and which ones its ok to have older ones, and how far back can I get away with? I have books form 2016 for some modules and latest for others just because started studying AAT a couple years ago but then life happened and I stopped. Are these still ok?
