Just checking this as it's not in any of the green light tests, Mock exams and it's not mentioned in the Examiner report.
I'm checking as it's covered in the Kaplan material, and i'm sitting this exam Wednesday

Hi there,
I sat the MDCL exam a few times and I came across it.
Is it not in the AAT Mocks? - Maybe it was in a college mock that I completed... I cant remember exactly.
Good luck for Wednesday!MAAT, AATQB, MICB PM.Dip.

MDCL is known as the tricky exam, it took me several attempts to pass it.
Although being a hard exam, how do you think it went?
Hopefully you got some questions/tasks which you covered on revision.
Now all you can do is relax and await the result (this is the bit I hated!)... Good Luck!
Whats your next unit?MAAT, AATQB, MICB PM.Dip.

yh it's wasn't a complete disaster, the first two tasks were almost too good to be true
some basic HI - LOW stuff.. work out the variable cost per unit the fixed costs... and apply it to a set amount of units ..... work out the prme cost of something and basic break even point/contribution .. all straight forward
next task big question on variance..... on a certain set of units... then another where it ad you to find a figure from missing info e.g the standard was X the variance was y what was the actual quantity..... again not too bad
then it stepped up after that.... tricky question on liner regression... it's seems silly but but the calculation didn't give me the fixed element which throw me.....
another task on basically work out a set of Ratio figures from missing info..... sounds easy but the way the question was worded and the amount of data there was made it very tricky (for me anyway)
then had some cvp question. but more difficult then the earlier task... then ended on life cycle costingAAT

Watch out for the synoptic. I'd argue probably the toughest exam by a fair margin.Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting - April 2019
