First Intuition Notes

Hi guys,

Currently studying for Decision and control exam.

Having a small problem with a question in my First Intuition notes.

Chapter 5, Lecture example 4.

I'm probably missing something really silly but I'm just not sure how they're getting to the "actual production hours worked" of 23,500 in the answers.

I understood everything else. Labour Variences, Material Variances. just this one i'm just not seeing how it is 23,500 hours! I'm starting to think it might be a typo, but it's more likely me!

I'll attach screenshots of the questions and answer.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Unless there's a comment about 'wasted' hours then it looks like a type. Might be worth looking up the book version online for errata's.

    18,000 A

Hi, thanks for replying and taking the time to look.

Yes I got the exact same using 24,000 hours for the hours worked. Guess I'll have to just move on. Wasted an annoying amount of time on it though.

My revision is August 2016. Not even sure where I'd look online for erratas. grrr
