AAT Licenced Accountant, worth it?

Has anybody applied to be a AAT Licenced Accountant? Just wondered how the application was and how much work it's bought you. Considering doing a bit of "side work" together with my full time job for extra pennies. Hoping to get some advice before going ahead with it
