Hi All,

I am hoping to offer my services to work for an accountant/bookkeeper, one day per week in exchange for the gain of experience.

Is this a realistic thought that anyone would be interested in or would people find it more of a burden?

I know it is a busy time of year for people so thought down could be a good time.

I am currently about to start studying level 4 but have a catering background professionally.

    Hi Tim

    I think it depends on the firm you apply to. Where I work there wouldn't be time to ease anyone in at the moment so probably wouldn't take anyone at the moment.

    However other firms may have the capacity to do so and it's how I started. I'd say this time of year you'd have more luck in industry than an accounting firm (at least till February) but I could be wrong.
