Management Accounts recap for Synoptic Level 4

Hi!
I'm just about to start the synoptic course. Its been 1.5 years since I looked at the management account modules so going over old notes to try and remember the basics.
So far I’ve focused on calculating/explaining ratios as it looks like that's task 5 on the synoptic.
Also, 'how budgeting can improve performance' (incremental budgeting, flexed budgets etc ) as it appears to be task 2 on the synoptic. Am I on the right track?
The synoptic seems to be mainly written questions, but are there any key calculations anyone recommends from budgeting/decision & control that are needed? Forgot how much material there is, slightly nervous on re-learning it all in time!
Thanks,
James

I'd make sure you understand the variances and relevant costs. Task 4 is a decision question and you might be asked for a cost benefit analysis for task 6 so would need to understand relevant costs.AAT Level 4, MAAT
