HI guys,
I feel like I am missing something so obvious here. I've calculated the COS to be £1,825,000 and it seems logical to work out the figure for sales next....i'm just need seeing how thats possible from the figures provided. Any ideas?

You use the gross profit margin.
Profit = 0.2 Sales
Profit = Sales - Cost of sales
0.2 Sales = Sales - Cost of Sales
Cost of sales = 0.8 Sales
Sales = Cost of sales / 0.8
Remeber if it was a mark up it would be a proportion of Cost of SalesAAT Level 4, MAAT
