Anyone else been approached by a client regarding specific insurance cover for a contract which is determined to be outside the "off payroll" working rules? Client has received details of a requirement for a minimum of £100k cover for HMRC investigations in the even HMRC queries the determination. Neither of us can find any known and reputable provider of such insurance and my understanding is that her current PI cover already does this.

Be good to hear if anyone has experience, a quick search for the client reveals the insurers, Kindsbridge, don't really exist except in name, the insurance company, Sabre seems to be a dormant company front for someone else and the underwriters seem to be Zurich. Is there no end to the assault on those trying to make a living and have no way of obtaining employment?0
