Hi all

Im wondering if anyone can help me with the below example from the Practice assessment on the AAT portal.

Set the System Software date as 30 june of the current year
Set the financial year to start on 1 june of the current year

What is meant by "System Software date" as I'm confused?

im learning on Sage One business cloud and i cant see anywhere for this entry to go?

If my financial year starts 01/06/2021 - is the system software date my end date?

struggling to get my head around the dates... any help would be great :):)
thank you
Sharon

The system software date will be the date the software pretends it is. This means if you make a journal it will automatically put in the date set otherwise it'll default to today's date. (It's mainly a time saving/error avoiding tool)

I'm afraid I haven't really used Sage One so can't tell you where the setting is.

Thanks for your reply. I have since found out that Sage one doesn't have a software setting date :)
