We have agreed to provide one of our suppliers a business loan to help him set up his team (who will be sub-contracting for us).
What is the best way of accounting for this in Xero, I want it to show on the suppliers ledger so will need to raise it as a sales invoice due but if I post that against loan receivable, it completely wipes out the loan balance which was created from the cash payment out of the bank.
