Any better way to solve this?!?

Hi there, was doing some practice questions at level 2 and came across this question, I managed to work out that £1665 was owing and then found trouble working out which transactions were outstanding, was just wondering if there is a good method for this type of question, thanks!

    This kind of question is a case of trial-and-error; see which transactions add-up to the missing amount.
