Role:

The role is a qualified Bookkeeper with experience and knowledge to provide a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting services. This is a small but busy environment so the ability to work under limited supervision is essential. You may be required to provide some holiday cover when necessary for other members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
• Posting all transactions using Online Cloud Accounts Software, eg Xero or Quickbooks
• Inputting Supplier Invoices & Credits and reconciling with statements
• Scanning paperwork/processing receipts and invoices through Dext software
• Producing Sales Invoices on behalf of Clients
• Monthly reconciliation of Control Accounts
• Monthly Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
• Finalising Client month ends
• Preparation of basic Management Information
• Upkeep of expenses records
• Preparation and online filing of VAT Returns
• Preparing Accounts to Trial Balance


Skills Required

• Essential - Experience in similar role (2-3 years)
• Essential – Some experience of e-commerce systems bookkeeping

• Good numerical and verbal reasoning
• Exceptional organizer with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• An excellent telephone manner
• Proficient skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Xero experience


Qualifications Required
• AAT Level 3 (working towards level 4) or ICB Level 4 (MICB)
• GCSE's or equivalent Grades A or B - particularly in English and Maths
