Level 4 Synoptic - preparation approach

Hello,

I've started to prepare for my professional synoptic exam and I feel rather overwhelming with the amount and scope of the information to review. I can't put my head around what approach to take for the consistent clear preparation. I feel like strait forward preparation technique (start from chapter 1 - read, practice tasks, move to the next chapter etc) I took for my pervious subjects won't work.

I wonder if you have/had a more efficient and productive approach for synoptic. There are a lot information on how to tackle the exam, but I can't find anything on preparation. Any practical advice and/or your experience are greatly appreciated.
