BOOKKEEPER

DUTIES

● Raising sales invoices
● Processing expenses and income
● Preparing and posting journals
● Bank reconciliations, including final checks for year-ends
● Investigating discrepancies
● Payroll reconciliations
● Accounting software set up
● Analysing current bookkeeping processes for clients and improving them
● Credit control
● VAT returns
● Assistance with year-end accounts
● Communicating with clients on a regular basis via email, phone or video chat and resolving queries
● Any other ad-hoc tasks

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:
Minimum AAT Level 3 qualified
Minimum two years of practical bookkeeping experience ideally in an accounting practice
Minimum Excel skills at medium level
Fluent English in speech and writing
Learning and growth – whether it’s improving processes and systems or learning about tax, accounting and bookkeeping they have to be one of your values. We’re looking for a person, who strives to become a bookkeeping expert.
Eligibility to work in the UK

Bonus:
Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and AutoEntry

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
● Remote working arrangement
● 10 hours per week with a possibility to increase the hours
● Working days and hours to be agreed
● 3-month probation period with an option to be extended
