Hey Kay, I've just started level 2 beginning of September this year. I try to do a bit of learning revision daily, but I've got an 8 week old baby so not always possible haha, happy to be study pals if you would like as I'm new to this whole AAT thing - Nikki1

Hi @Nicola_Ogden91 i have just started, just not enough hours in the day with kids.
That would be great, if anyone else wants to catch up on basics or just started level 2 comment below ?0 -
Hi Nicola and Kay, I have been studying Level 2 but took a break for family issues. I work full time so I it's difficult to find time to study. I need a study buddy to keep me motivated.1

Hi there! I started my level 2 in October but with Christmas the study kind of slowed down. Just wondering if I could join your study group? How are you both getting ok?
Thanks Amy0 -
Hi Amy, of course you can how are you finding the course? I've got my 2nd exam this Thursday so I'm trying to cram as much revision in as I can this week without overdoing it. Happy to try help in any way I can if you get stuck on anything. - Nikki0

Hi Nikki, thanks so much for getting back so quickly. Iโm excited about doing this course but I seem to be getting confused sometimes with the double entry. Just some of them. I wondered if you were the same? Wow! Congratulations, I wish you luck. How are you finding it all and the exams? Thanks Amy0

Hi Amy,
Yes I struggled a little with the Double Entry, this was a slight disadvantage for me in the first exam as I got borderline when I thought I had a pretty good knowledge of it. Just keep at it is, that's what I did and I think I have a better understanding now. Some of the stuff I knew from my job; invoicing, reconciliations etc the rest is pretty new to me. Finding the 2nd module - Principle of Bookkeeping Controls a little trickier than the first, but this too is now getting ingrained on my brain haha!
The exam was very similar to the AAT online mocks, but are wordy so when you do sit one make sure to double and triple check the question as this caught me out before I found my error just before I submitted my results.
Thanks Nikki1 -
Hi Nikki, thank you for the feedback. At the moment Iโm going over the double entry part a few times and trying to practice it separately whilst going through the chapters. I work in Sales so this is all new to me. My plan is to find a job in finance soon so that I can get more experience. I will stay in touch and come back to you if I have any questions. Thanks again and good luck with your next exam ? Amy0

Hi Amy,
If it helps there are youtube videos - look up Michael Norton - these helped me a lot.1 -

Of course Vicky, although I'll be honest I'm not sure where in their studies Kay, Benedicta and Amy are but I've just started my level 3 beginning of September so happy to help where I can and maybe we can be level 3 study budies too0
