Do you have to start ACA/ACCA within a certain timeframe to get your exemptions from passing AAT?

Hey all,

Apologies if this has been asked already. However I was wondering if anyone knows whether once you complete your AAT, is there a certain timeframe you need to start ACCA/ACA in order to take advantage of the exemption from exams?

I’ve passed level 4 recently but I have the chance to work in Canada. This means I may not be able to look at starting ACCA/ACA for a one or two years now once I’m back in the UK, and I’m worried I may find I’m no longer eligible for the exemptions as it will have been a while.

Not sure if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

Thanks!
