Hi all, my mind is blown by calculating vat of gross .
So gross amount is 4200 vat 20% ,I know the answer is 3360
But I always been calculating vat by dovifing it by 1.20
4200/1.20 = 3500
Which way is right way to calculate vat on assessments ?

Assuming VAT is 20%, Net Amount = Gross Amount / 1.2 and VAT Amount = Gross Amount / 6.0
