Changing details on member directory

Hi,
Does anyone know how to update the details on the member directory? If I search on my postcode I don't come up! I seem to be just showing as a town and no full address details so would like to update my information but can't see how to do this on the system. My address is showing as full under my profile so it's not linked to that.
