Why is the level 4 synoptic predominantly written questions?

I Am about to sit my PDSY, and am wondering why it is majoritavely written? for one i hate written questions as it is two i have a mental health prboelm that makes me feel emotions much more strongly than the average person, ive ben recently struggling with PTX and PDSY and its making me want to quit, i like accountancy just not this exam, why have an accontancy exam with written questions when i signed up to do numbers??!!!!

    also thinking about bunking the exam but that would be a waste of money

    Accountancy is more than just numbers. The written questions are more around testing theory so a human marked which is why it takes 6 weeks to get the results. There a a load of ethics seminars at the moment from the local branches which you get a lot from what a accountant really is.

    @LWOODSAATQB Accountancy is not just numbers but can also be more strategic. Level 4 deals with Management Accountancy which can include providing reports to managers, both written and verbal. For this you will need communication skills as well as numerical skills.
