Moving onto doing a CIMA

Hi,

so i have passed my Level 4 exams and have MAAT letters. My work wishes for me to do a CIMA but i am getting confused on the entry point for myself. Reading the guides it look like i should enter at management level but there system keeps putting me at the strategic level when applying for the course. I dont think it is correct.
I know there exemptions for AAT students so they dont need to do the BA parts and the opertional level stuff (since it covered in the AAT syllabus).

Any help would be great. I got my end of year review in 10 days and i know this is topic of how much it will cost will come up. I will be email them as well but always good to ask the questions to my fellow AAT members.

Hi,

The CIMA syllabus seems to have changed quite a bit since I finished, when completing AAT I was exempt from the certificate level and started on the operational level. I think the only way you would be exempt and go straight into Management / Strategic level is by holding a relevant degree or passes in ACCA / ACA equivalent papers. If unclear, best to contact CIMA direct and let them confirm....
