Contract: Permanent, 37 hours (5 days per week), 40 weeks per year (Term time plus 2 weeks)
Salary: Up to FTE £32,554.96 p.a. Pro-rated salary: £28,970 p.a. (*inclusive of 6.4 weeks paid holiday entitlement)
Location: Hybrid working consisting of remote working, flexibility required to work across educational settings in Hertfordshire, and neighbouring counties, along with occasional visits to Robertson House, Stevenage.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of schools within your allocated area of Hertfordshire to provide advice on both the school’s current financial position and future projections. In addition to this you will provide financial guidance to support the school’s aims of continually driving forward the quality of teaching and learning. This is a busy and stimulating role that requires commitment, resilience and professionalism, but gives flexibility and independent working, in line with the service requirements of your schools, e.g. meeting school leaders.
We are seeking an individual with accounting experience, who may be part/full AAT qualified or similar and has the skills to produce accounts and budget reports that school leaders can trust.
Our 'working from anywhere' approach provides colleagues the opportunity to work flexibly in line with their role requirements. This consists of working on-site across various schools and settings, remote working and, up to 2 days per week in our Head Office in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The ability to reach different locations by car will be essential for this role. If you drive, then a full driving licence and appropriate car insurance will be required. As there is a permanent home working element to this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped for home working.
