Do I need to buy extra study materials to pass L3?

Hello fellow humans,
I've got a question about study materials for Level 3.
Based on your experience or opinions, do you recommend buying extra study materials? Let's say I choose a provider like FI, and they provide materials such as the Study Planner, Question Bank, and Task Bank. Would that be sufficient to understand and pass AAT Level 3? Or is it advisable to purchase additional books from Kaplan, Osborne Books, and BBP to ensure thorough preparation?
Appreciate your insights!

BBP coursebook and question bank is all that is needed.
We were provided with all for level 2 and 3 and we were fine (by the college)

If my understanding is correct, then you didn't buy any extra material because the college provided it?

Here are some factors, if you decide to self study or to join a class/training provider.

First Intuition materials are very good. Kaplan questions in my opinion seem closer to the exam style, at least for Level 3.
My preference for exam kits would be
    1 Kaplan
    2 First Intuition
    3 BPP

I’ve never ever used Kaplan. Any good?
We still are sticking with BPP this year as well.

Is a post that BBP is missing some of the information - BPP have just confirmed they’ve missed out on Public Disclosure and Fraud Act information from the course book!
I am using Osborne and find them pretty useful.

    Hi buslaefff,
I think you could use Osborne books and Kaplan exam kits.

Kaplans exam kit is good. Also the First Intuition mocks were invaluable for me when I did the Tax processes exam.
