Conflict of interest query

I have recently seen a vacancy for a bookkeeper with a local accounting firm. However, the company I currently work for is a client with this accounting firm. My question is would this flag a conflict of interest for the firm and would they need to inform my company if I apply for the vacancy? I know in the past when I have asked advice from accountants I have worked with via being employed by a client, they have mentioned that any advice given would have to be disclosed to the client.
