Salary: £21-24k dependant on experience

We are currently looking for a diligent and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team and support our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Invoice and Bill Management: Accurately post invoices and bills into our accounting software and DMS system.
• Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and process bank reconciliations and ensure they are ready for review.
• Payment Processing: Assist with weekly payment runs to vendors and clients.
• Client Statements: Prepare and issue statements for our network of clients.
• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring data integrity.
• Accounts Receivable: Monitor and chase outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.
• Payroll Assistance: Participate in the payroll process to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Invoice Issuance: Issue invoices where necessary to clients or partners.
• Monthly Accounts Preparation: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience: Some prior experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Skills: Strong mathematics and literacy skills, with the ability to work with financial data accurately.
• Software Proficiency: Experience using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is essential.
• Organisational Skills: Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Drivers Licence: Full drivers licence is essential due to location of office.
