How did you find the exam? Maybe we could connect by email etc id love see if we could help each other, or maybe you could help me LOL. Good luck with your result I have my fingers crossed for you

Hey!
Gonna start on September, any tips or tricks?0 -
I completed AAT bookkeeping qualification (2&3 - 4 modules passed all exams 1st no resits) and now doing AAT level 4 accounting. (Took a big shortcut
)
It took me a long time to understand debits and credits so don't get frustrated if you get confused by it at first or which sides to input figures. The PEARLS acronym helped me the most with double entry.
Youtube videos helped me a lot and would recommend guys like Will Boardman, Mo AAT, Accountancy by Sajid. It's always good to listen to different people you always learn something new. Something I have been guilty of in the past has been going through topics and not answering practice questions fully just relying on memory. Always good to write down answers and complete practice questions. If you need extra help staysharp is pretty useful. I used it for 1-2 months before doing exams.
Will Boardman provides mock test papers and does bundles for £8. I used his mocks for my Level 3 papers Tax process. Some AAT centres offer students mock exams. AAT mock exams are rubbish, nothing like the real exams apart from the format. The questions were far too easy. BPP question banks are much better. Felt like the questions on BPP were harder than the actual AAT exams.

Hey Germantas, some sections of the first part are easier to pick up than other sections, I am getting debits and credits mixed up and the B/D & C/D. All a learning curve!0
