Hi

I am Ok with flexed budgets until there is closing stock. I am getting really confused. When I am asked a question like ' What is the flexed cost of labour' , I have been working it out on the production volume and not on the sales volume.
I now think this is incorrect. Please confirm that this is wrong. Some papers contradict!!
Are you still with me or have I frightened you off

You're a good bunch x
PCR - Flexed budget help needed PLEASE
i think this is right;

flexed cost of labour is worked out by budgeted labour phour x flexed sales volume

e.g if the flexed budget was for 35,000 units and the budgeted labour cost ph was £6.00 the flexed cost of labour would be 6 x 35,000

hope this helps

good luck - am locking myself away all weekend to revise0
