Whilst I am sure you are frustrated, is this really the right place to be complaining. You don't seem to have had a lot of responses that agree with you.

If you were that annoyed, why not contact the president direct earlier?

WILL THE AAT EVER GIVE ME MAAT STATUS???

I do appreciate it's really annoying being strung along, but then I guess you might have complained if they'd refused to consider it at all. I've seen your previous posts, and to be honest didn't reply because I didn't quite understand what the issue was. I would have been surprised had they granted you full membership without 12 months, because that is the whole premise of AAT full membership. Surely as an almost member you can see that it would devalue membership if people were accepted with less than 12 months? Notwithstanding the fact that I appreciate you do actually have over 12 months, you do have to evidence that, and as they've told you if you aren't able to contact your previous employer that's not really the AAT's responsibility.

I would say I don't take the view that this isn't the proper place for complaining, I think it precisely is, providing people don't complain over and over and over again about the same thing - I don't think you were doing this just venting your frustration a bit! The AAT in my experience are not particularly easy to deal with or customer-friendly, and that is frustrating. January is only a few weeks away so try to console yourself with the fact that you're nearly there, and be happy about your achievement of full membership status.
