Hi Sandy<BR><BR>Have yu managed to get a hold off todays PEV exam yet??????? Ewwww very formula in section 1 but one thing i have learnt now is that you can never be prepared fully for section 2 of PEV exams!!!!! The ratios were ok but I feel it was kinda like doing basic DFS to a revsied P&L!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have not yet seen the paper. If I can get a copy I will post my answers on the website.<BR><BR>I only know of the questions from emails I have received<BR><BR>Don't worry about what happened in the exam now, that's the examiner's problem. I'm glad I don't have 100s of papers coming to me for marking, it's a tedious task.<BR><BR>What I can say to reassure you is that the examiner is interested in more than just your assessment and if he has popped a new topic in this one, then that could be as a warning for future exams. When this happens, there may be poor responses this time, and if there is his a;llocation of marks to the question will be low.<BR><BR>So if the question that you didn't like had hardly any marks then your chances of passing are not likely to be affected very much.<BR><BR>If you have some more exams, I hope they go well. If not, have a bit of fun, your hours of revising deserve a reward<BR><BR>Sandy

    Sandy<BR>We all want to say a big THANK YOU for coming up to Essex and teaching us<BR>We all found that the exam went really well in the first section and had a funny turn in the second one. But everyone blew into imaginery brown paper bags and got on with it. I could see Gemma doing the blowing into her fist bit at one point, I nearly got a fit of the giggles and she saw me and started sniggering too. <BR>It actually helped cos then we got down to the question and did our best<BR><BR>were off to the pub now so I'll try to email you later<BR>Thanks from all of us

    Thanks Sandy<BR><BR>Exam papers are always that much easier whilst sitting at my kitchen table... hee hee. Coming away from the exam I now am starting the wheels in motion of what happened!!!!!! I waffled on so much the poor marker marking my paper!!!! I try not too but the waffle just flows on out!!! Woops Section 2 just seemed so foreign, but I am sure everyone got through it some way or another. Teh rations were there in full force however they threw in the labour capacity ratio again which I did capacoty hours (in extra questions) divided by budgeted hours x 100 however on Factory B I got over 100%, oh dear could that be right!!!!

    Sandy. Where did they get Q2.from? I sat and passed DFS in June and didnt expect a P&L acc in this exam. Its not come up on the coursework for this section and hasnt in the past papers ive been revising. Suppose its a bit early but do you have the Q&As for this, the question paper would do? Did you expect a question like that in the PEV exam?<BR><BR>Thanks

    Sorry Sandy I dont have the paper. You wont recognise me as im studying at home with Premier Training as have family commitments! Ive tried to get it from them but cant for now, and by the time I do im sure youll already have it.<BR><BR>Regards<BR>Mandy

    Sandy - you sound like a knowledgeable person, did you ever receive the PEV paper form 29th Nov ? If so what is the answer to section 2 !
